Barry Reinhold, President
Barry brings over 20 years of experience to his leadership role at LNI.
Barry has worked on compliance and verification issues in a number of settings, founding the InterOperability Lab (IOL) at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), and leading the protocol design of an iSCSI to Fibre Channel translation chip for Trebia before launching LNI in 1999. Additionally, he has developed test suites for many communications and storage protocols including IEEE 11073, iWARP (RFC 5044, RFC 5040, and RFC 5041), Fibre Channel, iSCSI, FDDI, IEEE 802.5, HomePlug, PCI-ASI, PCI-E, and well as protocols within the IEEE 802.x family.
Barry is currently working on verification projects for the iSCSI, Fiber Channel and Continua Protocols.
Rupert Dance, Program Manager
Rupert brings 20 years of management experience to his role as program manager.
As program manager for Testing & Verification Services at LNI, Rupert is responsible for LNI’s sterling reputation of delivering projects on-time and on-budget. He has participated in the development of Compliance and Interoperability Programs for Advanced Switching Interconnect (ASI), Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), Gigabit Ethernet Programs, Fibre Channel Industry Association (FCIA), InfiniBand™ Trade Association (IBTA), iWARP – RDMA over TCP/IP, Open Fabric Alliance (OFA) and PCI-Express.
Erik Travis, Sales & Business Manager
Erik joined LNI as a university student in 2005 and became a full-time employee in 2006. Erik attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a major in Business Finance and a minor in Computer Science.
Over the past 3 years, Erik has been involved in almost every part of the LNI operation, working in financial analysis, human resources, strategic planning, IBTA Plugfest administration, and office support. In addition to these tasks, Erik will be taking on an increased role in sales and marketing.
